These tool textures are available in every source engine game.Some of these textures have special function in some games. These special functions are noted by having the game's icon listed in the description (such as ,,, etc.).

The Clone Source panel (Window > Clone Source) has options for the Clone Stamp tools or Healing Brush tools. As a result, the repaired pixels blend seamlessly into the rest of the image.


We developed tools such as texture maker that allows you to create textures in seconds thanks to the presets included. The animation maker allows you to create animated textures that can be created from templates, GIFs or custom images.


The code editor implements syntax highlighter, advanced autocomplete and the tools that every code editor has. In addition to that, you can inspect Minecraft's and Minecraft Forge's source code from within the editor.


Every RTX Mod also comes packaged with the RTX Remix Runtime editor, giving players a multitude of options to customize their experience in real-time. Whether you want to tweak material properties to make the world shiny, customize lighting intensity, add fog and volumetrics, or incorporate post-processing effects like bloom and motion blur, the RTX Remix Runtime has you covered. Advanced users can even activate diagnostic and heuristic tools to highlight every changed asset in a RTX Mod, enabling a collaborative mod team to easily review an in-progress mod as they play, leading to a better public release.


The following need to be set up for you to get your MetaHuman characters from the Creator web tool to other tools like Unreal Engine and Maya. Quixel Bridge is used to download and export your MetaHumans between these other tools and provides direct access to the source assets and Unreal Engine assets.


The Source SDK is a collection of applications used for developing maps and modifications for games that use Valve's Source engine. Along with the packaged programs, the SDK also includes source code for the engine and various entities used within the games.


The SDK also contains tools that can only be accessed via the program folder. studiomdl.exe is used for creating models to be used in Source games. bspzip.exe packs content into the finalized map file so that it is extracted on run. vtex.exe converts image files into Valve Texture Files and Valve Material Files (.vtf and .vmt).


The .NET Framework Repair Tool provides an option to repair the versions of .NET Framework that are installed on the computer (step 3 of the process in the "Repair Tool options" section). The tool requires the redistributable files of those versions to be available at the time of repair. By default, the tool downloads these packages from the internet during the repair. If your computer has limited or no internet connectivity, you should use Offline mode for the repair. To do this, specify the /addsource option together with the path of the folder that contains the redistributable files, as in the following example:


Hammer is the official level editor used by Valve, which has been used on all Valve products dating from the original Half-Life. It has access to all of Left 4 Dead's textures and models and can accept custom textures and models as well. Hammer can read uncompiled maps and allow users to make their own custom maps, which are saved in .vmf format. Compiling tools are built into Hammer, making compiling maps easy, though time-consuming.


The SDK also has other tools, but these can only be accessed in the bin folder of the executable directory. Some of these tools include vpk.exe, which allows level designers to pack their levels into a .vpk file, studiomdl.exe, a tool used to compile models for L4D, and vtex.exe, which is used to convert images into textures usable in Left 4 Dead. There are many free Minecraft Add-Ons and customized worlds you can use, as well as customized Minecraft worlds available from the Minecraft Marketplace. If you want to design your own Minecraft Add-Ons, explore different Resource packs and Behavior packs you can use to spark your creativity.

The batch compiler and Ant adapter (ecj.jar) are extracted from the org.eclipse.jdt.core plug-in as a 1.2MB download.
